Introduction:
Citadel ® first took the stage in 1978 and their first self-produced full length release followed a year later, it's 2009 and the band members have changed several times over the years around one or more Whitman Family members. There is no major label hype, no cookie cutter songs, no agenda and no telling what genre they should be listed with - prog? rock? folk? metal? well, that is a start...

Comments:
The Ghost Midi Pickup in Citadel's Guitarist's Godin Freeway SA Guitar blows away every other synth-guitar pickup the band has tested. The band is using this system now as the exclusive midi-controller for studio and live performance. Listeners will be able to hear this amazing rig for themselves on the next Citadel release, D'Anthologie 2, scheduled for the second quarter of 2009. The band feels fortunate to have found the graphtech.me network and looks forward to interaction with this community!

First Citadel Song on Graph Tech!

Okay folks, this one is not yet released, so keep it here on Graph Tech for now until D'ANthologie 2 comes out (Spring 09).

The band has finished recording the song with everything but drums, bass and lead vox done on the Godin/Graph Tech Ghost. The "We Are Alone" prelim mix is here now - listen carefully, there are no actual keyboards on this song (and no real string quartet or gong either) -

Sure, this is a rough mix needing some tweaking and polish....and don't be think… Continue

New Profile Photo Coming Soon!
As soon as time allows and the fingers of Citadel guitarist, Rejyna, slow down to an acceptable shutter speed, we'll snap a photo of the CItadel Graph Tech Godin in action to replace the album cover pic that is there now as a placeholder...maybe this weekend?! Ok, go ahead and hold your breath!
